Male Lion, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

This male lion was with a lioness in estrus.

I just returned from a safari in Tanzania.  We visited Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks.  It was a great time, capped by a gigantic wildebeest crossing of the Mara River near the Kenya border.  I’ll be doing a blog article on the trip at a future date.
