Bull Elk, Yellowstone National Park

It’s been quite warm here in Yellowstone so far and the elk rut seems a bit slow to me.  This bull was seen near Seven Mile Bridge.

  1. A very handsome bull. We really didn’t see too much rutting action on our trip in early September either. In fact, we really only heard bugling on one occasion during the entire visit.
