Kestrels are hard to photograph because they are so skittish.  I got a break with this one.  It was a little slower to move with dinner on the table.

  1. Congrats, Jim! That’s a great capture of a kestrel! Not only did you get it to hang around long enough to get a capture, but you got a great background color too.

    1. Thanks Pat. They sure are hard to photograph. So are bluebirds. I was lucky yesterday. I got some photos of both. I think I’ll add them to the poster series I’m doing with the Wild Birds Unlimited store in Novato.
