This is a good time to be in Yellowstone to see bear cubs. While I enjoy photographing all cubs, the spring cubs, also known as cubs of the year, or “COYs,” are the cutest. Spring cubs are tiny. How tiny? I think of them as footballs with legs.

Adorable Jim! We are heading therre on Monday in hopes of seeing cubs… Any areas you recommend? We will only be there for 4-5 days..
Thanks Michele. Grizzlies could be anywhere. Ask around when you get there. The Tower area is great for black bears and their cubs.
